Ayame
Design Studio provides an Industrial Design and Product
Development service focusing on mechanical product solutions
through advanced 3D parametric solid modeling. From concept
drawings to piece part design to complex assemblies, Ayame
Design Studio strives to establish a long-term working relationship
with our customers by offering innovative ideas, premium
quality services, and manufacturable designs on time and
at a reasonable cost.
Ayame Design Studio caters to the individual or small business
company that may not have in-house design capabilities or
needs to out source, but Ayame Design Studio is always ready
to take on a challenge no matter how small or large the
task.
The
software of choice at Ayame Design Studio is SolidWorks
for all its mechanical design projects. SolidWorks is a
leader in 3D solid modeling mechanical design software.
With features such as parametric functionality, dimensions
directly associated with the 3D models can drive the shape
of parts. This reduces drawing overhead since one drawing
can virtually create many variations of the same part. In
addition, bi-directional associativity between parts, assemblies
and drawings means editing time is reduced since assemblies
and drawings are instantly updated when an individual part
is revised.
3D
models can be constructed very accurately according to your
specifications. For
effective product marketing and advertising, PhotoWorks
software can be used to create realistic rendering to assembly
or part files. By
applying appropriate colors, textures and materials to all
surfaces, adding lights and backgrounds, a very realistic
model of the project can be created and rendered. This is
comparable to creating a physical scaled model, but with
the flexibility and ease of changes for quick revisions
and development evolution.
After
a design matures, Rapid Prototyping (RP) is the next major
component of the design process. 3D models can be exported
as highly accurate STL files for stereolithography (SLA),
selective laser sintering (SLS) or laminated object manufacturing
(LOM) RP process. This helps to evaluate design intent before
costly tooling has begun. For larger parts where these RP
techniques are simply not feasible, prototype designs using
CNC methods can be made.
The
next possible step after the models have been produced is
to create an animation showing your design. An animation
is a great marketing tool. Please see our web page on Animation.
